CLARK COUNTY Trails open May 1-October 31 and December 15-March 15 - ATVers must stay on the trail and not travel off the trail to go “mudding”. If excessive damage is found the trails will be CLOSED. Jackson County, in cooperation with the Black River State Forest, will open all ATV trails to UTVs (Utility Vehicles) beginning on May 14th. UTV's will be allowed to operate from May 14 through October 15th. UTV's must be registered for public use before using the public trails.
